If you have suffered from acne for any length of time you may have asked that question more than you care to even remember. There are more acne medication out there than stars in the sky but it would all just depend on what you are trying to control.
There are many different forms and severity of acne, hence all the many products so picking which acne medicine is right for you would depend on several factors.
Acne starts beneath the skin and caused by a bacteria that can quickly breed and spread when your pores become clogged with oil and those bacteria become trapped. The degree at which your acne erupts could be based on your resistance to that bacteria and your body’s ability to fight back.
You may also find in many individuals that suffer from severe acne that there are other factors involved that cause their acne flair ups to be worse than others. I could be a sensitivity issue as well as a hormone condition that makes matters worse.
Usually the benzoyl peroxide products such as Oxy Plus, Clearasil and others seem to work fairly well on mild to moderate cases of acne. Other types of acne medicine in which a prescription is required include products such as Accutane and Retin A.
These products must be taken with care and you must follow your dosing instruction carefully. Make sure you do your research before deciding on these types of treatment.
In the end, there are a number of natural products on the market that work very well for many people. There are natural treatment plans as well and when followed as instructed along with the proper diet and exercize can make a huge difference in your life.
You need to be the judge of just what acne medicine will work best for you. Compare the side effects of the medications you are taking along with just how effective they are at controlling your acne. Harsh ingredients will usually lead to harsh reactions so play it safe when deciding on your treatment plan.
Acne medicine can and does control your acne so talk to your doctor about which product may work for you. Do some research and I encourage you to go with a natural acne medicine and see if the less brutal control methods will work well for you.
