Skin Care Analysis…Your First Weapon Against Acne

Are you fed up with looking in the mirror each day after reading all the slick ads and buying the hyped up products? All designed to eliminate your acne within hours or days of course, right? Don’t work harder. Work smarter! If you haven’t already done it you need to seriously consider having a skin care analysis. Done right it is the very first thing you should do in your first line of defence in your fight against acne. It will not only save you tons of time and money in the long run but will also give you a huge advantage in your quest for beautiful and vibrant skin.

So what exactly is a skin care analysis you ask? Let’s see just how complicated you skin really is. Think of the word “complex-ion”.

1. Consider Your Lifestyle

Are you a smoker? How much sleep are you getting each night? How much water do you drink everyday. Maybe you consume more alcohol each day than just a glass of wine. Have you considered the ph levels of the products you use on your skin? Do you like to spend a great deal of time outdoors? What about the climate in which you live? Is the weather hot, dry, humid, cold, wet? Have you considered your work environment? Are you a grease monkey? Maybe you sit in front of a welding iron exposed to heat and smoke all day or maybe you are swimming instructor. You could be into computer design sitting in a clean room or even paint cars. Your environment in which you spend the most time each day really does matter. You must be in touch to how your skin is reacting to that environment.

2. Does Gender Matter?

It’s no suprise that men and women can have completely different skin types. Unlike some theories it’s not just about preception. How many of you women out there just can’t wait to get that bar of Lava soap all over their hands and face? And guys, how ofter do you catch yourself searching for the hand lotion throughout your day? Some pamper their skin and some don’t. It goes much deeper than that, trust me! I think you get the idea.

3. How Old Are You?

Age does make a difference. What is great for a teens skin can have the opposite effect on those of you in your senior years. Adult skin can be completely different that both teen and senior. Did you know your skin has a stretch factor or elasticity? How it is able to roll with the punches and repair itself is extremely important. Your skins ability to absorb changes as you age. Of course oil production is vastly different in younger people than senior people. As you age you should consider how fast your skin dries after showering. You may want to re-evaluate the type of products you use if you shower daily. Your choice of which products you buy should be based on how that product will complement your skin. Age can be very important.

4. Color Density

Are you dark skinned? Maybe you are extremely fair skinned or somewhere in between. Your skin tone determines how well your skin reacts under certain conditions. For example, people with variable skin tones will all react differently in the sun. Some tan nicely or tolerate the sun while others can burn quickly. Skin tone makes a difference in making your decisions on the products you should be using.

These very basic examples are a brief description of how extremly important it is that you consider a skin care analysis if your are considering starting any type of skin care program. You do not need to be in the dark when wondering which products are best for your skin. You can also get a complete skin care analysis free, no matter where you live and without obligation of any type. You don’t have to spend a fortune or any money at all in order to be successful in the proper care of your skin.
